Review:

The Chronicles of Nick is a series about a kid named Nick Gautier. He's the Malachai, a powerful demon who ultimately decides to save the world or raze it. Yeah, that's a mightily scary thing to lay in the hands of a sixteen year old. But he's coping well. I mean, his girlfriend Kody is helping him cope. *wink* Nick's got charm enough to fuel the sun for eternity. Yeah, one smile from him and he'll have you twisted around his pinky, his slave forever. Don't fret, I'm already there and I've no complaints.

Instinct was the latest installment in the CON. It was just as great as the previous and there were some plot developments. But I couldn't help but feel like it wasn't quite as satisfying as the previous book. I don't know what it was, but something about this one felt like it just went by too quickly. There just wasn't enough plot for me. But then again, it's a big story to tell and Sherri's giving it due diligence. Maybe I'm just too impatient. Either way, it still held up to the usual standard.

I love Nick. He's on my list of eternal favorite characters. And that is a strange list. I'm going to post it one day. You'll be surprised by it. These characters are the ones who are just next-level. The have a life of their own. They get under your skin. They can do no wrong. Nicky is just my favorite in the entire DH universe. Absolute. Even above Ash. Who agrees with me?! That's right, all of you! ;P

If you haven't read CON, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! And if you haven't read anything of Sherri's, again, WHAT YOU ARE WAITING FOR?!
